Mick Howling was once again on top form with his debuts in Super Gas and Pro, Qualifying No 3 in Super Gas with a 9.9018, facing eventual event winner and fellow PMR driver Steve Bolton in the 3rd round in Pro where an axle failure put paid to a very promising start to the 07 campaign. Mick is very much looking forward to the next event at Shakespeare County Raceway. Gary The Razmus Springford and Dave Racing Snake Catton were sharing the drive in the Whoopass PMR Monza, competing in Pro and Super Gas respectively. With some refinements to the Whoopass Monza still untested from last year, there was some anticipation as to what it could or would do; the Monza certainly has a lot of character! Well it rewarded us with its first ever naturally aspirated 8 second runs, which pleased Drag Race Engineering Proprietor and driver Gary Springford immensely.
